we have a painting by gyorgy from 1966 in london of a church .it belonged to an old friend who lived in london at the same time.ijust wondered if you could confirm that he was in london at the time,our friend illiona was also hungarian and had portrait painted by him. thankyou rod barber

I’ve had a look and it seems that György received a grant to travel and spent time in western Europe at around that time (London, Paris,…) so it is quite possible that he was there then. I didn’t find any concrete proof about dates though. If you would like me to find his contact details, let me know and I will try and put you in touch with him.
